Brussel Sprouts with a Spicy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1lb Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 cup Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce (reduced salt pref)
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • enough nutral oil to coat pan

Method

Cut sprouts lengthways in half, heat a large heavy base frying pan (Skillet) with oil until it is smoking, place sprouts in pan cut face down. Let cook for 2 to 2.5 mins, then flip, after 2 more minutes add lemon juice, Sriracha sauce, Honey and cashew nuts. let cook for another minute, TASTE! then add salt and pepper to taste. Serve straight away.
